Short answer
- Three months out: enter the Nintendo Museum lottery. Entries open on the 1st of the month three months before your visit, so February 2027 means November.
- Two months out: Ghibli Park opens on the 10th at 14:00 Japan time; Tokyo Disney Resort sells each date two months ahead, daily from 14:00.
- About one month out: Ghibli Museum sells the next month on the 10th at 10:00; Grand Sumo opens 2026-12-05 (January, Tokyo) and 2027-02-06 (March, Osaka).
- Next dates: Nov 10 (Ghibli Museum for December; Ghibli Park for January), late November (teamLab Planets for February), Dec 5 (Grand Sumo, January), Dec 10 (Ghibli Museum for January; Ghibli Park for February).
- Only inside the park: Tokyo Disney Resort Premier Access in the official app, and Super Nintendo World entry in the USJ app (or ahead via some Express Passes or travel agencies).

Times are Japan time (JST), as of 2026-11-02. Ghibli Museum, Ghibli Park (February and March) and Nintendo Museum dates are counted from each venue's published rule; the rest are announced. Ghibli Park notes its sale dates may change. Set your alarm in your own time zone.

Every day, for the same date two months ahead: Tokyo Disney Resort from 14:00 and PokéPark KANTO first-come from 19:00. Shibuya Sky sells two weeks ahead.
Things do sell out: Grand Sumo's November 2026 Fukuoka tournament sold out on every date, and Tokyo Disney Resort pauses sales without notice when a day's limit is reached.

Dollar figures are approximate, at the Federal Reserve's rate of 156.87 yen per dollar (Oct. 23, 2026).
Cards and conditions. Nintendo Museum takes Visa, MasterCard and JCB, requires 3D Secure and a verification call (dialing +81). Grand Sumo is credit card only, printed at 7-Eleven in Japan. Ghibli Museum on Lawson Ticket is credit card only, with no refunds or changes; bring the group leader's passport. From November 2026 admissions, Lawson uses a new registration page. USJ's English web store takes Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club International and Alipay. teamLab Planets lists credit card, PayPay and UnionPay.
Official channel or third party?
Nintendo Museum and Pokémon Cafe TOKYO sell only on their own sites. Klook appears only where the venue lists it: teamLab Borderless, Ghibli Park, Shibuya Sky and USJ. We don't point you to resellers or booking agents.
What to do now
- Put each opening for your month in your calendar.
- Set up accounts and cards early: a Nintendo Account and a 3D Secure card; MyDisney for Tokyo Disney Resort; Sanrio+ for Puroland.
- Recheck each page the day before each opening.
What the official sources don't say yet
- USJ Express Pass. The FAQ's two-month rule is for tickets in general; the Express Pass page gives no day count of its own. Open the English web store calendar: a date showing a price is on sale. On 2026-11-01, Express Pass 4: Race & JAWS showed prices through 2026-12-31.
- Pokémon Cafe TOKYO. January 2027 onward is "to be announced later"; December was a one-off. Check its notices.
- teamLab. Planets gives February as "late-November" with no day or time; check its calendar then.
- PokéPark KANTO. The English page gives a route only for residents of Japan. Start a purchase on the Japanese site to see residency conditions.
- Sanrio Puroland. Register for Sanrio+ and pick your date in the e-passport store to see if it's on sale.
